IgG4ward! Community Support Meeting
Living with a chronic and often complex condition like IgG4-related disease (IgG4-RD) can be physically and emotionally challenging—and often isolating. The IgG4ward Community Support Meetings were created to provide a welcoming, compassionate space where individuals impacted by IgG4-RD (patients and caregivers) can connect with others who understand their experiences.
These 60-minute virtual support group meetings offer a positive, supportive forum where participants can:
Share challenges and personal experiences
Celebrate achievements and milestones
Learn coping strategies from others living with IgG4-RD
Receive emotional support in a professional, facilitated setting
Each meeting is led by Linda Toussaint, LICSW, MSW, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals and groups around mental health, trauma and chronic stress.
Linda brings a compassionate, person-centered approach to her work, creating safe spaces where participants feel heard and supported. In private practice, she helps individuals process and accept changes related to their bodies, health and sense of self, while building resilience, managing stress, and navigating the emotional impact of chronic illness and life transitions.
