Volunteer at an event

Every year we have in-person events we call JAMs (short for jamborees), and each year work to add more JAMs to the schedule. If you have interest in volunteering to help the planning and execution of a JAM, we welcome the support. Your involvement can be as light or as heavy as you choose, and in most cases, we need help on the actual days of the event during registration and transition periods throughout the day. We also ensure that volunteers can attend any of the keynote addresses or breakout sessions, so you can listen and learn with everyone else.

Create your own fundraiser

IgG4ward! relies on the funding from sponsors and fundraisers to fulfill our mission as a non-profit foundation. We have been fortunate to partner with some amazing sponsors and are grateful to the generous individuals who support us, so we want to ensure we maintain our momentum. If you have any ideas for an impactful fundraiser, or know of an event we should get involved in, or want to plan and execute a fundraiser within your community, we are more than happy to collaborate.

IgG4ward! patient ambassadors

We currently have 28 global patient ambassadors who offer connection, understanding, and peer support to those affected by IgG4-RD. They help to ensure that no one must navigate this journey feeling alone, regardless of where they are in their diagnosis or care experience. Our ambassadors:

  • Connect with individuals at different stages of the IgG4-RD journey

  • Offer understanding grounded in lived experience

  • Provide reassurance, perspective and peer support

  • Help others feel seen, heard, and less isolated
